This version of Java is for players wanting to join our 1.7.10 servers on old/outdated computers.

Once downloaded, make sure your Executable Java Path leads to;
C:{your directory location path wherever you place the java}\Java\jre1.8.0_51\bin\javaw.exe

Make sure the option is checked in your Minecraft Launcher.

JRE is short for Java Runtime Environment.
This is the type of Java required to run Minecraft on PC for Java Edition.

More recent versions of Java or automatic updates can install a higher version which can be a struggle for older computers to handle.
This is why we provide these files, to ensure everyone gets a chance to play our custom servers.

The downloaded file needs to be extracted, you can do that with WinRAR easily. By default, you can right-click and select Extract on Windows.
Once extracted, you may place the folder anywhere you want.
Even on your desktop. If on your desktop, the path you put in your Minecraft Launcher profile will be similar to this;

C:\USER\Desktop\jre1.8.0_51\bin\javaw.exe
